Four individuals have been detained on criminal charges connected to the death of Azerbaijani soldier Jeyhun Gumbadov, a source in law enforcement told Trend today.
Earlier, it was reported that two individuals had been detained, an officer and a soldier.
The source did not disclose the names of detainees.
The source added that the Azerbaijani Military Prosecutor's Office earlier filed a criminal case under Article 342.2 of the Criminal Code (negligence in service leading to grave consequences). But since then, the Azerbaijani Military Prosecutor's Office has reclassified the charge to a different article.
Born in 1994, Jeyhun Gubadov was called up for military service in the Absheron region. A few days ago, he died in in Dashkesan.
