Azerbaijani police detained South Korean citizen engaged in illegal propaganda of Christian religion.
As a result of joint measures conducted by Sumgait City Police Department's employees and representative of the State Committee on Religious Organizations in Sumgait, it was found that South Korean citizen Son Chung Soon, who rented an apartment, was engaged in religious propaganda of Christian religion, the Interior Ministry told Trend.
During an inspection at the apartment of Korean and Japanese language teacher Soon, 60 religious books titiled "Ahdi Jadid" (the New Testament) were revealed and seized.
The fact is under investigation.
