The most important thing in Eurovision is to convey the felling of the song to the audience, representative of Spain in the contest Pastora Soler considered.
"I will be working and rehearsing much until arrive to Baku and hope I will be able to convey the felling of the song to the audience." Soler told Trend in an interview.
The 57th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Baku Crystal Hall, which is under construction near the State Flag Square. The Eurovision 2012 semi-final rounds will be held in Baku on May 22 and May 24 and the final on May 26.
Soler expects that the competition will give her an invaluable experience. The most difficult is to combine my tour in Spain with the preparations and rehearsals of Eurovision, she said.
Good song for me in eurovision is that which has a good staging, lyrics and music and the most important, the song to convey the feeling, Soler added.
"My song "Quedate conmigo" is a ballad about love. It has nothing of flamenco, a genre very traditional in Spain, but I think isn't good for Europe. I'll only tell you that I'll have five backing singers with me on the stage." She said.
Soler noted that she has never been in Azerbaijan and doesn't know much about the country but want to familiarize with it during the visit. "I have seen pictures of Baku and it's a beautiful and modern city!" she added.
Soler noted that it's a great responsibility to represent the country at the competition. "But it's my job, I'll try to do a brillant performance to my audience this satisfied by the acting. I think no one is ready to be criticized, but I know my acting will be analyzed and it's impossible to please everyone." Soler said
Pastora Soler - Spanish singer, representative of Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012. She was born in Coria del Rio, a Spanish province of Seville. She has been performing at music festivals since childhood. She released her first album when she was 14.
She was chosen as a representative of Spain at Eurovision- 2012 on December 21, 2011.
