Armenia handed over seven prisoners to Iran on Aug. 26, ISNA news agency said citing Iranian Interior Minister's Advisor, Shahrukh Hidayati.
Hidayati said seven Iranian prisoners received from Armenia were arrested in connection with narcotics.
He added that Armenia transferred prisoners to Iran through the 'Norduz' customs checkpoint.
Hidayati also said Iran turned over a Bulgarian citizen two days ago.
He noted that the Bulgarian citizen was arrested in connection with narcotics.
The Bulgarian citizen's transfer was carried out at Tehran's Imam Khomeini International Airport.
