New state services established under Azerbaijani Agriculture Ministry
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on ensuring the activity of the Agriculture Ministry and amending the presidential order on "Approving the structure of a number of central executive bodies" dated July 14, 2010. According to the order, the State Service for Agricultural Projects and Loans was established on the basis of the State Agency for Agricultural Loans under the Agriculture Ministry.
Moreover, the state service for control over the seeds and registration of plant varieties was established under the Agriculture Ministry on the basis of the Republican Seed Inspection, the State Commission for Test and Protection of Selection Achievements and Republican Cotton Seed Control Station.
The Azerbaijani State Veterinary Service was renamed into the State Service of Veterinary Supervision under the Agriculture Ministry. A structure of the Agriculture Ministry was also established upon the presidential order.
