Hungary supports Georgia's integration policy into NATO, Hungarian State Minister of Foreign Relations Zsolt Németh said during a meeting with Georgian Speaker David Usupashvili on Feb. 14.

"We know that Georgia has had to overcome many difficulties recently," Németh said. "I want to reiterate that Hungary is Georgia's old and reliable friend."

The Hungarian side asked about the plans that Georgia is going to realize before signing an Association Agreement with the European Union. It expressed readiness to share its experience in this area.

The sides talked about the upcoming NATO summit in Great Britain and the expectations, relations with Russia and recent events in Ukraine.

Usupashvili expressed hope for further intensification of relations between Georgia and Hungary.

Usupashvili and members of the delegation attended the meeting of the Hungarian Parliament as honorary guests.
