By Elena Kosolapova - Trend: Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Jordan's King Abdullah II who is on a working visit to Astana discussed prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, investment, scientific and technical, cultural and humanitarian spheres, Kazakh presidency reported on June 20.
The parties also exchanged views on topical issues of the international agenda.
Kazakh President noted that the two countries and their leaders have close and trusting relations.
Abdullah II in turn thanked Kazakh President for the invitation to visit Kazakhstan, as well as on behalf of the Jordanian people expressed gratitude to Kazakhstan for the support during many years, including in the issue of Syrian refugees.
The two leaders also considered a number of priority measures aimed at realization of interaction potential.
