Islamic Republic's best students who participated in International Olympiads have left the country, Sharg newspaper reported.
According to the newspaper, who published an article on frontpage, 62 percent of Iranian students have left the country for other developed countries such as the U.S. and Canada.
The newspaper says from 1993 to 2007, 140 of 225 students who participated in various olympiads, left Iran.
Article also says that those students who left Iran, were enrolled into such universites as Cambridge University, University of California, Princeton University, John Hopkins University and others.
94 percent of those 140 students were the graduates of Sharif University of Iran. 66 percent of these students are now studying in the U.S. universities and colleges.
