An armed man walked into a "Gonbad" trade center in Maraga city of Iran's East Azerbaijan province yesterday, and opened fire, Fars news agency reported.
The incident happened yesterday at approximately 20:00, local time. Reportedly, the unnamed man, armed with a gun walked into the center, and started shooting, killing anothe person, who was a doctor, in the process.
After shooting the attacker took two more people as hostages.
After the arrival of the police, the attacker started shooting around, and the police gunned him down. The hostages were not hurt.
There is no detailed information on the arrested man's intentions, however according to reports, he was 33, from Iran's southwest province of Kerman (Kerman city), and he had some personal issues with the killed doctor.
