Baku, Azerbaijan, Feb. 23
By Rahim Zamanov - Trend:
Iran Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Feb. 23 that Tehran is ready for trade and business with all European countries.
"Iran is open for business," he said, adding that there is a very safe environment for business in Iran.
He went on to note that the leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei insists that the country follows on its commitments.
However, he said that Iran's leader is skeptical about commitment of Western side.
"The entire Iranian nation is skeptical about West's intentions," Zarif noted.
Referring to the issue of terrorism, the Iranian official said that terrorism and extremism has created major challenges in the world.
"All those who support extremism are threatening themselves," he said, adding that extremism knows no boundaries.
Zarif made the remarks at the joint press conference with the visiting Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders in Tehran.
