A delegation of U.S. congressmen will visit Georgia on Tuesday.
Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze stated in the traditional briefing that the three-day visit will come as the seventh visit of the U.S. congressmen and reaffirm the U.S. support of Georgia.
The U.S. Congress plans to adopt in January a statement in support of Georgia. The document, which will similar to the previous U.S. Senate resolution, will recognize the occupation of Georgia's territory by Russia and call Russia to an immediate de-occupation.
