Georgian ruling party regional activists request meeting with PM

Twenty-five activists of the ruling Georgian Dream party arrived in Tbilisi from Martvili (Samegrelo region, Western Georgia) and began a hunger strike at the state chancellery. They want to meet with Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili to tell him about the situation in the country’s regions.

Twenty-five activists of the ruling Georgian Dream party arrived in Tbilisi from Martvili (Samegrelo region, Western Georgia) and began a hunger strike at the state chancellery. They want to meet with Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili to tell him about the situation in the country's regions.

They added that they will not go until they meet with him.

The party activists say that nothing has been changed in their region after the parliamentary elections on October 1.
