The new authorities will not allow even slightest weakening of U.S. interest in Georgia, Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili said recently.

Last Wednesday Ivanishvili took part at an event organised by the U.S. Embassy on the occasion of U.S Independence Day.

The Prime Minister delivered speech and congratulated the American people on the holiday.

"The new authorities will do everything for the U.S. interest in Georgia as a partner to strengthen and in any case will not allow even the slightest weakening," Ivanishvili said.
