A terminal at Los Angeles International airport was evacuated Friday after gunshots were fired, airport officials said, dpa reported.
Television pictures showed passengers running from Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 following the incident which occurred shortly after 9 am local time.
A local CBS Station reported that three people were taken to hospital, with one suffering a gun shot to the leg. The report said that a man with a rifle had managed to get past security at the airport and open fire.
