Georgian Minister of Finance Nodar Khaduri will open the international conference in the hotel "Courtyard Marriott" on Feb. 10.

The conference organized by the World Bank will be conducted on Feb. 10-12 within the framework of the PEMPAL (Public Expenditure Management Peer Assisted Learning) program, the Georgian Ministry of Finance told Trend.

The Georgian side will be represented by the treasury service of the Ministry of Finance.
The heads of the state treasury and other representatives of the financial sphere from 15 countries of Central Asia and Eastern Europe will take part in the event.

The PEMPAL program was established by the World Bank in 2005.

Its purpose is to raise the qualification of employees of public finance management through the interchange of knowledge and experience. The program includes representatives of 21 countries of Central Asia, Eastern and Central Europe.
