The Georgian and Swedish defense ministries signed an agreement on the exchange of classified information and its protection Nov. 13.

The document was signed by the head of the International Relations and Euro-Atlantic Integration Department of Georgia's Defense Ministry David Nardaya and his Swedish counterpart, Colonel Peter Frederickson, the Georgian defense ministry said.

The bilateral consultations were held as part of the visit. The Georgian side stressed the importance of the results of the NATO Wales summit.

The areas of cooperation for 2015 were determined.

The sides said that the defense cooperation between Georgia and Sweden is rapidly developed.

They expressed the hope that the existing relations will successfully continue.
