Two people were killed and 15 were injured as a result of the road accident, which occurred in eastern Georgia, the Georgian Interior Ministry told Trend Jan.6.
It is reported that a minibus ran off the roadway and crashed into a ravine.
It is also reported that two passengers, a young man and a woman, were killed on the spot. Some 15 injured were taken to hospital in the cities of Gori and Kaspi, said the ministry.
There are rescue teams and police at the site.
Criminologists are to establish the cause of the incident.
The minibus was heading from Tbilisi to the city of Karelia, the road accident occurred near the village of Akhalsopeli.
