By Orkhan Quluzade – Trend:

The United Nations as well as the UN Security Council should be reformed since their activities do not meet the up-to-date requirements, Yalcin Topcu, chief advisor to the Turkish president, told Trend.

International organizations’ current activities lack justice, he said.

In this regard, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke on behalf of oppressed peoples with the statement, “The world is bigger than five!”, where he said that the five permanent UNSC members do not secure justice, Topcu added.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan has previously said that the structure of the UN Security Council is far from justice.

Erdogan believes the UN Security Council’s permanent members should be elected for some defined term.

He added that it is unjust that five permanent members of the UNSC determine the destiny of mankind.
