Baku, Azerbaijan, Feb. 2

By Rufiz Hafizoglu - Trend:

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called for changing the structure of the UN Security Council, the TRT Haber news channel reported Feb. 2.

He said that currently the fate of the world depends on five countries [the five permanent members of the UN Security Council], and it is unfair.

Erdogan also noted that Muslim countries should be included to the UN Security Council.

Earlier, Erdogan said that the Muslim countries should have a say in the UN.

He noted that the world shouldn't count on the fairness of the UN.

"It is unfair that only five countries manage all the international relations," he said earlier.
