Bad peace is better than war: Azerbaijani MP

"Any bad peace is better than war," Azerbaijani MP Asim Mollazade said Khankendi on July 3, Armenian mass media reported.
 
"Today, the two countries - Armenia and Azerbaijan, two nations have a big chance for peace. It needs to seriously work in this regard, search solutions that would create the South Caucasus as a region of stability, peace and prosperity. Both Azerbaijan and Armenia should work on this, and international organizations should help them find a peace."

Azerbaijani and Armenian Ambassadors to Russia Polad Bul-Bul oglu and Armen Smbatian, as well as Head of Federal Agency for Culture and Cinematography Mikhail Shvydko, who are on visit in the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, met with the President of the unrecognized NKR Bako Saakyan on July 3.  

Mollazade said that currently the negotiations are continuing, there is serious progress.
 
"I think that after signing the Moscow Declaration, a lot of steps were taken to achieve peace," said the opposition MP. He noted that his presence in Khankendi shows that not only the government, but also Azerbaijani opposition is interested is interested in achieving peace.

"It is possible to rebuild roads, houses, but no one can return life, which is the most valuable, and we can not fill all the casualties, and it is therefore necessary to restore peace."
