Internal Differences on Nuclear Issue in Iran Continue Increasing: Politician

Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend D.Khatinoglu / "In Iran the protests of the majority of the political organizations are growing against the Iranian Government with regards to the uranium enrichment. "The internal differences on the nuclear issue in Iran are continuing intensifying," said Iranian politician, Isa Sakharkhiz.

Due to the implementation of the third resolution of the UN Security Council and increase of the possibilities of war with the USA, the Iranian parties 'Musharikat' and 'Nekhzat-Milli' opposed the Government's polity. The representatives of 'Musharikat' Party, former President of Iran Muhammad Hatemi, former Chairman of the National Security Council Hasan Ruhani, expressed dissatisfaction with the policy of Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The position of Tehran incurred severe critics in 21 November issue of the newspaper Jumhuri-Islami. The Chairman of 'Nekhzat-Milli' Party, Ibrahim Yazdi and laureate of 2003 Nobel prize, law observer, Shirin Ebadi, calls on the people to begin demonstrations against the Government.

Sakharkhiz reported to Trend by telephone from Tehran on 23 November that, the Iranian President has created crisis not only out, but also in the country. "The nuclear crisis of Iran is increasing. Peace and stability in the country is more necessary than the nuclear facility. Is the acquisition of the nuclear facility is more important than keeping the country from the war? The Council of Europe supports the USA. It means serious statement on outbreak of the war," Sakharkhiz said.

The Chairman of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Muhammad Albaradei, stated that Iran co-operated with them in the nuclear issue. However, the key problems have not been removed yet and it is impossible to believe in the peaceful nuclear plans of Iran.

During his visit to Iran's city of Ardebil on 21 November, Ahmadinejad stated that the nuclear problem has already bee removed. "The countries putting pressure on Iran in this issue should apologize to the country's people. Our right has been recognized by the international community," he said.

Another Iranian politician, Jafar Muhammadi, said in his conversation with Trend that Iran is fully right in the nuclear issue and should not abandon its position. "From the legal point of view, Iran's acquisition of the nuclear facility corresponds with the international law and the international community accepts it. However, several western countries politicize this issue and want to put pressure on Iran in this way. IAEA can not control the nuclear stations on Iran and is not right to prevent activity of Iran's nuclear stations. Iran needs nuclear facility, huge monies have been allocated for it, there is no way back," Muhammadi said.

Ahmadinejad said that even they terminate uranium enrichment, the USA will be continuing putting pressure on Iran due to democracy, human rights or in other way, IRNA reported.
