Azerbaijan, Baku, 12 February / Trend / The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received the Tajik delegation led by the Economic Development & Trade Minister of Tajikistan Bobodzodi Gulomjo.
Gulomjo positively assessed the results of the international commission's meeting held in Baku. He spoke of increasing trade turnover between the two countries, development of potential economic fields, and discussions on opening a direct air route.
During the meeting it was noted that a Tajik Embassy would be opened in Azerbaijan in the near future and an Ambassador has already been appointed.
Mammadyarov highly appreciated the intensive mutual relations and said that he would do his best to enhance cooperation between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan.
