Military Attachés to View Prospects of Georgian Armed  Forces

Georgia, Tbilisi, 4 Dec / corr. Trend N. Kirtskhalia / The Georgia Defense Ministry held a meeting with the Association of MilitaryAttachésaccredited in Georgia.

Colonel Vladimir Chachibaya, chief of the Incorporated staff of Georgia, received the guests, Defence Ministry said.

Colonel Matthew Brand, the newly appointed head of the Association, the U.S. Defense Attaché personally introduced the members of the Association to the chief of the Incorporated staff. Heads of departments for strategic planning, military policy and operational planning of the Georgian defense ministry took part in the meeting, which mulled future perspectives to develop and restructure the Georgian armed forces.

Speaking on behalf of the association Colonel Brand expressed the willingness to render Tbilisi assistance in army reforming.
