Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 22 / Trend , B.Hasanov/ Turkey is prepared closely to participate in approaching of the Azerbaijani military and industry system and army to NATO standards, Hasan Igsiz, General of the Army and the second chief of the Turkish Armed Forces Head Staff, told journalists in Baku on Dec. 22.
Azerbaijan and Turkey held next negotiations on military cooperation on Dec. 22.
A Turkish delegation under Igsiz's leadership came to Azerbaijan with this purpose.
The visit will end on Dec. 24.
Turkey desires to fulfill its obligations on approaching of the Azerbaijani military and industry system to NATO standards, Igsiz said. Turkey and Azerbaijan will develop existing cooperation in defense and industry field, the General of the Army said.
Igsiz did not give extra information on details of the visit.
