Finland accredits ambassador to Turkmenistan

Turkmen Parliamentary Speaker Akja Nurberdiyeva accepted Finnish Ambassador Tuula Yrjola's credentials today.
The diplomat conveyed her best wishes to Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov and the Turkmen people.
During the meeting, Yrjola discussed Turkmen state policy and parliamentary activities in the country.
"Finland is interested in establishing full cooperation with Turkmenistan," Yrjola said, adding that the country hopes to develop strong bilateral relations with Ashgabat under the EU and other authoritative international organizations, including the OSCE. She noted trade, economics and culture as priority areas of future cooperation.
Yrjola was also received by the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
