Azerbaijani Justice Minister, Judicial and Legal Council Chairman Fikret Mammadov met with World Bank Vice President Philippe Le Wairua yesterday in Baku.
Mammadov underscored the fruitful cooperation between the WB and Azerbaijan.
According to the official, dynamic economic growth rates have been achieved under the government of President Ilham Aliyev.
Mammadov spoke about the country's broad reforms in the judicial system. He said new regional courts are being created to ensure that the rights of citizens are protected. The number of judges will also increase twofold.
