Azerbaijan, Baku, Oct.21 / Trend S. Suleymanov /
Today MPs adopted an intergovernmental agreement between Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan on the status of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea (IFAS) and its organization at the regular plenary session of the Senate in Astana, the Kazakh Senate told Trend.
The document creates a legal basis for the implementation of tasks set by the heads of Central Asian states at the Almaty summit of IFAS in April 2009. Also an intergovernmental agreement was reached between Kazakhstan and Slovenia on the international transportation of passengers and cargo by road, the Kazakh Senate said.
The document provides regulating passenger and cargo transportation in international road transport between the two countries, which will also significantly increase the intensity of the cargo transport from Italy to Kazakhstan through Slovenia's territory.
