Azerbaijan-Pakistan military cooperation mulled

Azerbaijani Defense Minister Colonel General Safar Abiyev has today received newly appointed Pakistani Ambassador Inayatullah Kakar, the ministry reported.
Congratulating Kakar on his appointment, Abiyev said there was successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan in all spheres, particularly military one.
He said the country continues a high level cooperation with Pakistan, one of the first countries that recognized Azerbaijan's independence, and a progress was achieved in military cooperation.
They also exchanged views on the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Kakar said Pakistan had no contact with Armenia, which continues to occupy the territories of Azerbaijan.
