The Azerbaijani has today approved the abolition of visas for Azerbaijani and Polish citizens owning diplomatic passports.
Submitting the bill, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on International and Interparliamentary Relations Samad Seyidov recalled that Poland is the EU president and stressed the importance of the abolition of visas. The visa abolition with other European countries should also be considered in the future, he said.
MPs also adopted a draft of the Constitutional Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "On Approval of Amendments to the Constitution of the Nakhichivan Autonomous Republic" on second reading.
The parliament also adopted a decision to remove the term "restraint" from the laws "On the basis of the call to active military service in the Republic of Azerbaijan", "On the identity card of a citizen of the Azerbaijan Republic", "Social adaptation of persons released from punishment in prisons" ," On compulsory state insurance against labor ability loss in production", "On special documents of stateless persons permanently residing in the Republic of Azerbaijan and foreigners wishing to stay in Azerbaijan for more than 30 days ", as well as from the Criminal Code.
