Turkey is to begin producing its first domestic helicopter, the Turkish Ministry of Defence Industry said today.
According to the report, a new helicopter will be produced by the Turkish Research Centre for Aerospace Technologies.
The Turkish defence industry has recently focused on the development and production of its own goods. Turkey has managed to be self-sufficient at 54 per cent in the defence industry.
