Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan adopted a bill Oct.17, according to which foreign tourists will be able to receive e-visa to Azerbaijan through travel agencies.
It is planned to make changes to the law "On tourism".
Under the bill, foreigners and persons without citizenship will be able to apply directly to the tourist agencies of Azerbaijan, which have been accredited in the relevant executive authorities in order to receive e-visa, or to travel agencies of their country, which are partners of Azerbaijani companies.
Terms of stay in the country with a visa will be 30 days. The tourist visa formalization will require documents specified in Azerbaijan's Migration Code, as well as a travel voucher or a pass, passenger ticket, and others.
