ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, April 25. Turkmenistan's Ministry of Finance and Economy has unveiled intentions to launch auctions for the privatization of 42 state-owned assets, Trend reports.
As per an official announcement, the auction is scheduled to occur on May 16, 2024, utilizing a digital auction platform dedicated to the sale of state-owned property.
A diverse array of service sector facilities, encompassing stores, cafes, canteens, administrative buildings, and manufacturing facilities, will be available for auction.
The auction will feature several significant assets, including a brick workshop, the Dowrebap shopping and leisure complex spanning 8,800 square meters, a two-story building in the Lebap region, a pipe manufacturing facility covering 6,400 square meters in the Dashoguz region, and the administrative premises of the 'Nur Zaman' enterprise in Ashgabat city, spanning 4,300 square meters.
The online auction for these assets will be facilitated through a dedicated digital platform specifically designed for state property auctions, complemented by its corresponding mobile application.
Additionally, on April 17, 2024, the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan commenced the sale of 42 state-owned assets.
