BSEC MEMBER-COUNTRIES TO EXPAND CO-OP IN COMBAT OF TERROR

Ramil Usubov, the Azerbaijani Interior Minister, will attend the 8th meeting of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) Interior Ministers, to be held in Turkey in October 2005, Trend reports. The gathering will focus on combat of international terror.

The Interior Ministers of the BCEC will discuss the development of cooperation in fighting with human trafficking, illegal migration between Europe and Asia, opportunities for the establishment of network of BSEC officers. The gathering will attach special importance to interaction in fighting with the organized and economic crime, strengthening of fighting with the drug and arms trafficking.

The Interior Ministers will mull the implementation of resolutions adopted in the 6h session of the organization, in particular, issues linked with the Agreement on Cooperation of BSEC member-states in combat of crimes, in particular, organized crimes.
