President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree today on organization of the Emergency Ministry activities, Trend reports.
Under the decree the hot line В"112В" is arranged aimed at ensuring the Rescue Service activities. The paramilitary service for special defense is being organized aimed at defense of strategic enterprises, objects and facilities which may be endangered in cases of heightened risk under extreme situations of natural, technogenic character, fires and terror.
Berths and vessels owned by the special emergency and rescue service of the Caspian basin are handed over to the Emergency Ministry.
The Cabinet of Ministers is charged with approving the list of vessels which are to be delivered to the Ministry.
