Report on disappeared in Azerbaijan persons will be discussed at the PACE 2008 winter session, Azerbaijani representative in PACE, Gultekin Hadjiyeva told Trend.
She noted that reports are accepted via the special Council of Europe procedures. These reports have to be versatile and meticulously prepared.
Each report has to be prepared in a 2year term, she added. The preparation of the report on persons disappeared in Azerbaijan was entrusted to the Dutch MP Leo Platvoyet on December 8, 2005. He has a time before December 2007. Platvoyet will present the report at the PACE 2008 winter session, she said.
Report will cover the disappearance of 5000 persons. Platvoyet will first visit Geneva to confirm the list of disappeared persons and then go to the Caucasus in June.
