By invitation of Irans Parliament, heads of Islamic Party of Azerbaijan (IPA) and Vahdat Party were partaking in the conference dedicated to protection of rights of people of Guds and Palestine, Trend reports quoting to Gadjiaga Nuri, head of IPA.
Nuri said representatives of 50 states were partaking in the conference: В"Prior to the conference we met with Irans President and Parliament speaker, and after the conference with chief religious officials of the country, - he added.
Nuri also stressed at these meetings Irans authorities had spoken with them in Turkish and asked of social and political situation in Azerbaijan. Azeri delegation, in turn, spoke of Nagorno-Karabakh and Armenia invasion policy.
Nuri said upon the meeting with chief religious authority of Iran the latter invited his to make a pilgrimage to Meshhed. В"I and Vahdats president Tahir Kerimli visited MeshhedВ".
The chief of the party said also of conversations on Nagorno-Karabakh performed with heads of Moslem states during the conference.
