Azerbaijan studies the opportunities to export its goods to the Kuwaiti market, Shahin Abdullayev, Azeri ambassador to Kuwait, told Trend.

According to Abdullayev, at the moment the trade turnover between the two countries is unimportant, but taking into consideration that Kuwait imports 98% of goods, there is a potential for the development of the trade relations.

Abdullayev considers that Kuwait may assist Azerbaijan in access to the Iranian market. Many countries involved in the restoration of Iraq establish economic cooperation by means of Kuwait. And Azerbaijan may also use these opportunities in the future, added Abdullayev.

Besides, he noted that yet the situation in Iraq isnt stable and therefore it is not worth to go to a risk. However, in the future we may participate in the restoration of the Iraqi economy by means of Kuwait, told Abdullayev.
