Tahir Taghizadeh, Chief of the Press and Information Policy Department of the Azerbaijan Foreign Office, informed Trend that Peter Semneby, EU Special Envoy to South Caucasian Countries, is expected to hold several meetings in Baku.
The agenda of the visit of Mr. Semneby to Baku for December 15 includes his meetings with Elmar Mammadyarov, Azerbaijan Foreign Minister, Heydar Babayev, Azerbaijan Economic Development Minister, and with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. On December 15, Mr. Semneby will hold a press-conference dedicated to the results of his visit to Baku.
The visit of the EU Special Envoy to Azerbaijan will be completed on December 16. Later he will visit Georgia and Armenia.
