Elmar Mammadyarov, Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister, has received the copes of credentials presented by Jon Ramberg, the newly-appointed Norway's Ambassador to Azerbaijan today, on January 17, 2007, a source in the Press-Service of the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry told Trend.
During the meeting, issues on expanding Azerbaijani-Norwegian relations in political, economic, and humanitarian sphere were considered. The availability of a great potential for further development of relations between the two countries was marked during the meeting as well.
Mr. Mammadyarov provided with the information about Azerbaijan's all-round development, the country's recent achievements. He marked that Azerbaijan was intended for the integration to Euro-Atlantic agencies. He also provided with the recent information about the Nagorno-Karabakh peaceful negotiations, different countries' supporting Azerbaijan's just position in the issue, etc.
