Unless Armenia Realizes Results of its Aggressive Policy, Azerbaijan will have to Take Decisive Steps - Senior State Official

Azerbaijan, Baku /corr Trend S.Ilhamgizi / Ali Hasanov, Head of Public Political Department of Azerbaijan President's Executive Power, stated that unless Armenia realizes the intense situation as a result of its aggressive policy, Azerbaijan will have to take decisive steps.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated at the 1st Forum of the Azerbaijani-Turkish Diaspora organizations in Baku on 9 March that unless Armenia withdraws from its aggressive policy, its fate will be questionable. According to Hasanov, Azerbaijan's reliable position by is based on its economic opportunities, as well as boosting authority in the world and the South Caucasus.

Azerbaijan, whose part of the territory is under the Armenian occupation, demonstrates its just positions in the international community. "At the present time many countries in the world recognize Azerbaijan's rights based on international rule of law and territorial integrity, and states the occupation of its territory by another country. It actually puts Armenia in an uncomfortable position. The Armenians should understand that they should respect international law in order to influence the modern and globalizing trans-national world policy.

In this respect, Armenians feel depressed and this in turn forms a negative impact on their position. If they do not draw a conclusion, Azerbaijan will take decisive steps using its economic, political, social and international relations," he stressed.
