Gasymova / The President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Rene Van der Linden, will arrive in Azerbaijan on 8 July, the head of the Permanent Representation of Azerbaijan at the CE, Ambassador Arif Mamadov, reported from Strasburg on 2 July.
As Van der Linden's term of office draws to an end, this will be his last visit to Azerbaijan as President of PACE. The program of the visit is being arranged by Azerbaijan.
Spokesman for Van der Linden, Michaela Katalano, reported from Paris that the visit will be implemented within the framework of his tour to the South Caucasus countries. He has plans to stay in Baku for two days. During his visit Rene Van der Linden will meet with the MPs of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament), NGOs and members of political parties.
