Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend S.Agayeva / On the eve of the World Diabetics Day (14 November) the building of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation will be illuminated with blue, a symbolic color of the UN, on 13, 14 and 15 November
Blue color implies sky, uniting the nations and buildings of countries in 155 countries, which held the actions, is illuminated with blue color over several days. The key objective of the action is to attract the public opinion in these countries to the problem of diabetics, raise public awareness on reasons leading to the disease, its symptoms and outcomes.
Since 2005 the Heydar Aliyev Foundation has been implementing a project on High Care of Diabetic Children. The project covers children aged under 15 year suffering from diabetics. Under the project over 2 years the children will be provided with insulin of high quality and pen syringe.
