Azerbaijan, Baku, 15 January / Trend corr. J.Babayeva / The Institute for Freedom and Security of Reporters of Azerbaijan stands against the accused being kept in a cell during court proceedings, Emin Huseynli, the director of the Institute, said in Baku on 15 January.
"The accused would not feel infringed during the process. Such actions do not meet human rights," Huseynli said.
The Institute proposes to use Russian method, to change metal cells to armoured glass.
The Institute for Freedom and Security of Reporters was established in spring 2006. The goal of the organization is to settle a range of problems concerning the security and protection of Azerbaijani journalists.
