Judge of Turkish Supreme Court Trains Azerbaijani Candidates for Judge Positions

Azerbaijan, Baku, 24 January / The judge of the Turkish Supreme Court launched special courses for Azerbaijani candidates for judge positions. As a result of cooperation with adequate Turkish organizations, the Azerbaijani Juridical Council achieved an agreement enabling Turkish specialists to visit Azerbaijan in order to hold special courses with the Azerbaijani candidates for judge positions, the Juridical Council reported on 24 January.

Ahmet Toker, the judge of the Turkish Supreme Court and the highly skilled instructor at the Justice Academy, held coursed on the subject of practice of application of the European Court's precedents, legal basics of fighting with international terrorism, judges' deontology, etc.

The meetings with the Turkish guest took place at the Judge Election Committee, the Supreme Court and the Justice Ministry.

A total of 102 candidates for judge positions were involved into the courses.
