The Azerbaijani Diplomatic Academy (ADA) plans to admit the students to the BA courses in the coming years, ADA Rector and Deputy Foreign Minister Hafiz Pashayev told journalists.

The State Students Admission Commission (SSAC) will conduct the first phase of the examination Dec.19 to obtain a master's degree in higher educational institutions and the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy on the MBA and TEMPUS international programs, the SSAC reported.

So far, 424 applications were submitted to compete for 273 sits. 360 applicants appealed for MBA studies, 64 for TEMPUS and 123 - for MA at the ADA.

The applications were submitted in an online mode form from Nov. 26 to Dec.4 and then passed to the commission.

MBA (Master of Business Administration) is the program to obtain a master's degree in business administration, which is practiced in the Western countries for higher skills in management and administration.

TEMPUS (Trans European Mobility Scheme for University Students) is the European Union's programme which supports the modernisation of higher education in the Partner Countries of Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Western Balkans and the Mediterranean region, mainly through university cooperation projects

Pashayev said a new building for the ADA is being constructed. It will be put into exploitation in two years.
