The Azerbaijani Finance Ministry launched activities on administrative penalties in respect of 252 NGOs, which delayed the provision of reports and information about financial inactivity, the State NGO Support Fund under the Azerbaijani President reported.
In addition, the letters sent by the ministry to 554 NGOs have been returned to the sender in connection with the fact that their addresses were incorrect. About 659 NGOs have not yet responded to the ministry's letters on the application of administrative penalties.

"The purpose of the promulgation of the names of 171 NGOs indicating unknown address and 1,465 NGOs not providing reports to the Finance Ministry, is a call for these NGOs to fulfill the requirements of the legislation," the Fund reorted.
