The Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF) will hold several large-scale competitions in various gymnastic disciplines in 2019.

The World Cup in Trampoline Tumbling will be held on February 16-17, Trend reports referring to AGF.

One month later, on March 14-17, the World Cup in Artistic Gymnastics will be held for the fourth time in the country.

April and May will be marked by performances of athletes in rhythmic gymnastics. The World Cup in this kind of gymnastics will be held on April 26-28, and a week later, on May 16-19, the European Championship in this kind of gymnastics will be held.

The strongest athletes in aerobic gymnastics will gather in the capital on May 24-26. Another competition - the European Youth Olympic Festival will be held for the first time in Baku on July 20-28, 2019. The competitions in artistic gymnastics as part of this festival will be held in the National Gymnastics Arena.

The world championship in rhythmic gymnastics to be held on Sept. 16-22 will be the last competition.

The main features of all three World Cups, as well as the World Championship are that their winners will gain licenses for participation in the Olympic Games 2020.
