The employees of the Commissioner on Human Rights of Azerbaijan (Ombudsman) visited temporary detention isolators and departments of Baku Police, Trend reports referring to the Office of Ombudsman.
The representatives of Ombudsman visited four departments of the districts of Khatai, Nizami, Surakhani, Azizbeyov and Narimanov of Baku city. They met with prisoners detained at the isolators, got familiarized with the conditions of their detention and gave their recommendations.
The results of the inspection will be presented to the Interior Ministry of Azerbaijan.
