An Arrangement Dedicated 15th Anniversary of Khodjali Genocide to Be Held in St. Petersburg

An arrangement dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the Khodjali Genocide is expected to be organized in the Byeloselskiy-Byelozerskiy Palace in Saint-Petersburg on February 28.. Some 200 people is expected to participate in it, a source in the Azerbaijan Consulate General to the Russian Northern Capital told Trend.

Officials of Saint-Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast (Region), figures of science and education, art and culture people, representatives of different public agencies, activists of the National Cultural Autonomy, entrepreneurs, local population and other known persons are expected to participate in the forthcoming event. Participants of the arrangement will hear the whole truth about the Khodjali Gencide. The organizers of the arrangement will distribute booklets, screen documentaries dedicated to the tragedy. In addition, an address concerning the legal estimation of the Khodjali Genocide is expected to be read to participants of the forthcoming arrangement.

By the initiative of the Azerbaijan Consulate General, several other arrangements in the memory of the victims of the Khodjali Tragedy are expected to be organized and held in some other Russian North-Western regions the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Representative Office covers.
