Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company’s financial statements receive audit opinion

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 31

Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) has presented its financial statements for 2020, which underwent audition by Ernst & Young, ASCO told Trend.

“A positive conclusion was received proceeding from the results of the audit of the financial statements of the company,” the message said. “Moreover, the documentation was prepared on the basis of the international standards and in full compliance with the international requirements.”

As of December 31, 2020, long-term assets of the company amounted to 905,354 manat ($532,561), which is by 5.95 percent more than in 2019 while current assets exceeded 1.3 million manat ($764,705), which is by four percent more than in the previous year.

The company's liabilities amounted to 230,973 manat or $135,866 (a decrease of 1.7 percent), of which 44,693 manat ($26,290) accounted for the long-term liabilities (an increase of one percent).
